Michelle Tomko is a comedian, freelance writer, and Atlantic City Arts Commissioner. She is the recipient of the Atlantic City Weekly Nightlife Award for "Best Comedian" for the past five years. She has performed all over the East Coast and has been featured on TMZ and NPR. In 2019 she received an Images and Voices of Hope fellowship to develop her one-woman show, Yo Eleven. As a classically trained performer with a B.F.A. in theatre from Kent State University, Tomko also teaches comedy and can be seen acting in the occasional play.

When not performing, Tomko covers events in Atlantic City and surrounding areas. She believes wholeheartedly in the richly diverse community she lives in and wants to make it shine. Whether it's covering an art installation, a restaurant opening, or doing a quick interview with a local politician, you can count on Michelle to add her own humorous, unique take on what's going on.
