7 Day Forecast
The haze, heat and humidity have settled over South Jersey for the start of the new work week and you will feel it as you head out the door today. Much like yesterday we will see a little bit of everything with some sunshine, some clouds, and scattered showers and thunderstorms from time to time as well. With highs around 90 today and high humidity that will push the heat index into the mid to upper 90s, so take it a little slower if you will be outdoors this afternoon.
On Tuesday a cold front approaches and we likely see a line of strong to severe thunderstorms develop during the afternoon and evening hours, with the greatest threat being damaging winds from these storms. Behind the front a beautiful day is on the way for Wednesday with lower humidity and highs in the mid 80s. The remnants of Hurricane Laura could bring a period of rain to our area later Friday into Saturday followed by a noticeable cool down for the start of the following week. Have a great Monday South Jersey!
