7 Day Forecast
The last weekend of the summer of 2020 was picture perfect from start to finish, although we did see unseasonably cool temperatures throughout. Autumn officially begins tomorrow morning and with it, the start of a warming trend! The dry conditions will remain with us for the week so leave that umbrella at home. And by the end of the week you can probably leave your jackets at home as well as temperatures will make a run at 80 degrees!
One thing to remember is we continue to see very rough surf along the coast. A combination of strong onshore winds as well as Hurricane Teddy, which is passing by well to our east, is continuing to create dangerous conditions in the water. A coastal flood advisory, high surf advisory and high rip current risk are all in place for today. It is strongly advised that you stay out of the water as conditions are simply too dangerous and many lifeguards are now off duty for the season.
