7 Day Forecast

South Jersey will begin to see just a bit of a warming trend on this last full day of autumn as high temperatures are expected to climb into the mid 40s this afternoon. However we will see more in the way of clouds than we saw on Saturday and a weak disturbance will create some scattered rain and snow showers during the course of the day, but it should not do much more than whiten the ground in a few locations. Another weak disturbance passes by with a few more rain and snow showers Monday night.

Looking down the road the big story this week will be an approaching storm and frontal boundary on Christmas eve. We should see plenty of rain breaking out ahead of the front and maybe even an isolated thunderstorm! Behind the front temperatures begin to nosedive on Christmas day and any leftover precipitation could change to a few snow showers, although right now it does not look like much in the way of accumulations. And then another blast of cold air is likely as we head into next weekend.

Have a great Sunday!!
