Another Soaker On The Way
South Jersey should enjoy a beautiful day today with plenty of sunshine and temperatures a few degrees warmer than what we saw on Wednesday as we rebound back into the lower 50s. Hopefully you will get a chance to enjoy this nice weather because a storm system will likely bring another soaking rain to the region as we head into the weekend.
We will be watching two storms, one an upper level low over the Great Lakes and a larger storm developing over the Gulf. The two storms will phase together off the coast creating a large coastal storm on Saturday. So look for showers to start developing Friday afternoon and that will turn into a steady and heavy rain Friday night and Saturday. We could be looking at another 1-2 inches of rain with locally higher amounts. As the storm pulls away the race will be on, can cold air get in here in time to change the rain over to a bit of wet snow before ending? It's possible, especially the farther inland you travel. We should clear out and cool down for the second half of your weekend.
Have a great day everyone!
