Our Favorite Recipes to Celebrate National Cheese Lovers Day

Let's get cheesy, shall we? If you love cheese, you will love the morsels we're about to share in honor of National Cheese Lovers Day. The observance is officially marked on January 20th, but we think cheese is worthy of a month-long celebration even though there is already a Cheese Month in October. Still, you can never have enough cheese as far as we're concerned, so we're posting our favorite recipes to warm things up with some ooey-gooey, cheesy goodness in this cold winter month.



Before we get to the good part, here's a few facts about this American favorite ... and a favorite it is. According to Statista, the average consumer in the United States ate about 40.4 pounds of cheese in 2019 and America's intake of cheese over the past ten year has increased by more than five pounds. While cheese can be a good source of calcium and protein and as well as vitamins like A and B-12 and minerals like zinc and riboflavin, it can be high in fat and sodium, depending on the variety, so always read the label and remember the saying ... everything in moderation.


When it is time to indulge (these recipes are certainly not low-fat), why not try your hand at some of our favorite ways to cheese things up.
