Possible Severe Weather Today

Hello South Jersey and it will be a very typical summertime day across the region with sunshine for most of the day, along with plenty of heat and humidity. By the end of the day we will watch a strong cold front approaching from the west and this could trigger showers and thunderstorms, some of which could become severe. These storms would begin to approach the area after 4:00 pm and should exit the coast before midnight. Damaging winds, large hail and even an isolated tornado is possible if these storms hold together and don't weaken before they move into South Jersey.

Behind the cold front we are heading into a beautiful Labor Day weekend weather wise with sunshine and less humidity, so make plans to get outdoors to enjoy this unofficial end of the summer season. Have a great day!
