Remnants of Zeta Approaching
Hello South Jersey and if you can get outside to enjoy the dry and mild conditions make sure you do because some big changes are on the way starting tonight. The remnants of Hurricane Zeta will bring periods of heavy rain, beginning tonight and lasting right through the day on Thursday. Then a second area of low pressure, right on the heels of Zeta, will keep the rain in our area right through Friday morning. When all is said and done we should see widespread totals of 1-3 inches of rain with pockets of 4 inches or more. Obviously this creates the concern for flooding conditions so if you live in a normally flood prone area be sure to monitor conditions over the next 48 hours. Behind the storms temperatures tumble and we should be near freezing by the time you wake up Saturday morning. So take advantage of the nice weather today and have a great Wednesday!
