The Chill Returns
I hope you were able to get out an enjoy the 50 degree temperatures across South Jersey yesterday because a cold front swept across the state and now northwesterly winds are ushering in another batch of chilly air. High temperatures today will barely crack 40 degrees but with breezy conditions wind chills will spend most of the day in the 30s.
We are still keeping an eye on a storm which will bring precipitation to our area as we ring in the new year. It looks like the heaviest rain will be overnight Thursday night into Friday as we could see another inch or so of rain across South Jersey. And even though it will be windy as well, I don't think we will see the excessive winds that we saw on Christmas. Above normal temperatures are expected as well for the end of the week as we could flirt with the 60 degree mark for the first couple days of January. Behind that storm we should clear out by the second half of the weekend. Have a great Tuesday!
