Hello South Jersey and you have made it to another Friday with some pretty nice weather on the way for this weekend, although it will definitely be on the cool side. Most of the steady rain from last night has moved off the coast and after a few leftover showers this morning we should be dry for the next several days. With high temperatures in the 60s and lows in the 40s for the next few days it is going to feel like autumn around here, although autumn does not officially begin until Tuesday.
Remember we are likely going to see several rounds of coastal flooding, beginning this evening and at each high tide through the weekend. High tide this evening will be around 9:00 pm on the ocean and 1-2 hours later on the back bays. Widespread minor to even localized moderate tidal flooding is possible so move your car to higher ground if you live in a normally flood prone area. Meteorologist John Isgro will be along tomorrow with a complete look at your latest forecast so I hope everyone has a great weekend!
