Welcome to December!

It was a stormy end to the month of November with most of South Jersey seeing anywhere from 1-2 inches of rain along with gusty winds and even a few severe thunderstorms! Now we turn the calendar and look ahead to the month of December and, right on cue, I have the first snowflakes of the season in my 7 day forecast!

Today looks like a mixture of clouds and sunshine with breezy and cooler conditions as highs struggle to make it into the lower 50s. By Wednesday even with a good deal of sunshine we never make it out of the 40s during the day as we drop well into the 20s at night. Looking down the road we watch clouds increase on Friday and then a period of unsettled weather is likely from Friday afternoon right through the weekend. Showers are possible at any point this weekend, although it certainly wont be raining the entire time. And if any of those showers arrive at night it could be cold enough that it falls as some snow showers! Something to keep an eye on as the week moves along. Have a great Tuesday everyone!
